Michael, “The Speech Guy”, has worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, rehabilitation services, aged care, and NDIS services. Throughout his professional career, Michael came across the same issue time and time again – clients were seen simply as a number, not as an individual and unique person. As a result, clients would not get the best quality service that was appropriate to their specific needs.
As Michael was passionate about remedying this problem, he established his practice based on a name that he has adopted in the industry – The Speech Guy & Co. All services provided by The Speech Guy & Co. are guided by our core values of:

Our Mission
Our mission is simple – to provide high quality, individualised & evidence-based speech pathology services for adults with neurological conditions who have communication and/or swallowing difficulties so that they can effectively express themselves and live life to the fullest. We do this by:
- Understanding our client’s goals, wishes or circumstances and incorporating these into our service delivery
- Being genuinely caring, compassionate and empathetic with all our clients and stakeholders
